Our Story

Founded By Anya & Kayliegh.

The Perfect Blend wasn't opened by one owner with a hairdresser helping out. It was built by two owners, together, from the day the license was signed.

In October 2020, Kayliegh was doing Anya's hair when Anya asked her a simple question — did she want to open a salon together? Kayliegh didn't take it seriously. Two months later, The Perfect Blend's original salon opened in Jumeirah.

Somewhere along the way, it became clear how the two of them actually work. Anya knows how a business operates. Kayliegh knows how a salon floor is run. A powerhouse pairing — one with the business operations, one with the technical knowledge of the services themselves and how to actually deliver them.

Three branches later — JVC, Al Barari, Arjan — it's still run the same way it started: two owners, no one else's name on the license.

Anya, founder of The Perfect Blend Dubai

Anya

For Anya, one business was never going to be the whole story.

Ten years ago, Anya was living a comfortable life in the UK — but comfort was never the goal. She moved to Dubai as a single mother, raising her son Kaidan with no outside investors behind her and no family business to fall back on — just a decision to build something of her own, from scratch, on her own terms.

In October 2020, Anya decided to take a risk and open her first business with no investor. The Perfect Blend was opened in Jumeirah — and now, six years later, has a team of almost 80 staff across three locations.

In November 2024, Anya bought Collective Ladies Salon outright — a ladies-only luxury salon in Al Quoz, built around a signature Japanese head spa and a hub of independent specialist artists. Anya has never believed a brand has to choose one lane and stay in it.

In 2026, she partnered with Tom Walker to bring Hair Repair Dubai to the UAE — built on the same model behind Tom's 10+ successful Hair Repair Club locations already running across the UK, non-surgical hair replacement for anyone who needs it, with the goal of expanding across the GCC. It was the same instinct behind everything else she's built — find what's genuinely missing, and build it properly.

Alongside the salons, Anya co-founded SWTZ with Charlotte Alexander — a Dubai athleisure label built out of a genuine gap: women couldn't find activewear that actually fit them and made them feel comfortable in their own skin. So she built it herself.

Today, Anya also mentors other women — including salon owners — worldwide, teaching the same operating system she's built and run across every one of her own brands: the real numbers, the real mistakes, and what actually works.

Four businesses, three partners, one idea underneath every single one of them:

Confident in your own skin. Feeling like your very best self. That's not a tagline — it's the actual business, every time.

Kayliegh, co-founder of The Perfect Blend Dubai

Kayliegh

For Kayliegh, standing still was never really an option.

She began hairdressing at just 15, was renting her own chair by 18 and, at only 21, took her first leap into business by opening her own salon in Scotland. But even then she knew she wanted more.

At 24, that ambition took her to Dubai. With no fear of starting again and a mindset that has always been more "why not?" than "what if?", Kayliegh has built her career by trusting her instincts, taking risks and constantly looking for the next opportunity to grow.

In 2020, she co-founded The Perfect Blend alongside Anya. What began as one salon has since grown into a multi-location Dubai brand — but for Kayliegh, the vision has always gone far beyond simply opening more doors. It has been about building a brand people recognise, a team people want to be part of and an experience clients want to come back to.

A huge part of that identity has been built from growing The Perfect Blend's social media organically from the ground up to now leading all content, creative direction and socials for the brand.

After becoming a mum to twin boys, Kayliegh stepped away from being full-time behind the chair and into a new chapter of the business. Today, her focus is on leading and developing the teams, driving growth and overseeing the countless details that keep the brand moving forward.

And details matter. Kayliegh is known for noticing everything — the things most people wouldn't even think to look at. From the atmosphere in a salon and the standard of a client journey to the smallest detail in a piece of content, she believes the little things are what ultimately build a great brand.

Nearly two decades after first stepping into a salon at 15, her mentality hasn't changed much:

Think bigger. Back yourself. Take the risk. And if the opportunity is there — why not jump in and see what happens?

Optional, not blocking: if Anya ever wants the Dubai-move paragraph fleshed out beyond the general framing above — what she was doing before the move, her specific reason for it, and what her first months were like.
