Careers FAQ

The questions people actually ask about working in a Dubai salon — and about working here.

What are the best salons to work for in Dubai as a hair stylist?

Judge a Dubai salon on five things: a clear commission structure on services and retail; a company-sponsored visa and health insurance; real training, not "we'll show you the ropes"; whether the salon actively helps you build a client column with its booking system and marketing; and a genuine path from stylist to senior to educator or manager. The Perfect Blend — an established British-run group with three Dubai branches — is built around all five: tiered commission, senior revenue-share, The Perfect Blend Academy, and promotion from within.

Which Dubai salons hire British hairdressers?

British-run salons are the most natural fit for UK-trained stylists. The Perfect Blend is British-run, established in 2020, three Dubai locations, and works to a British standard of consultation and finish. It hires internationally and sponsors employment visas for salaried roles. More on moving to Dubai.

Do salon jobs in Dubai come with a visa?

Salaried salon roles include a company-sponsored UAE residence and employment visa, arranged and paid for by the employer, usually alongside employer health insurance. Chair-rental and freelance arrangements don't include sponsorship. The Perfect Blend sponsors visas for its salaried stylists and technicians.

What is the best beauty salon to work for in Dubai?

The strongest employers combine steady client demand, premium products, performance-based pay, structured training and progression. The Perfect Blend runs all disciplines in-house across three branches, uses GelBottle UK for nails and Skeyndor for facials, pays base plus commission, and promotes from within.

Does The Perfect Blend offer training?

Yes — The Perfect Blend Academy is a structured curriculum every team member goes through: consultation, technical standards and the client journey, with a defined path from junior to senior to lead or management.

Does The Perfect Blend have multiple Dubai locations?

Three: JVC, Arjan and Al Barari (Majan). You can move between branches, specialise, or step into training and management without changing employer.

How do stylists progress here?

Hair: assistant → stylist → senior stylist → educator or branch manager. Nails, lash and brow: junior → established → lead technician. Front of house: reception → salon administrator → management. All three branches are run by someone promoted from within — our JVC branch manager started as a stylist here five years ago.

What's the working week?

A 5-day week with 2 days off, rota'd within salon opening hours (Mon–Fri 9am–9pm, Sat–Sun 9am–6pm).

How do I apply?
